BattleLore: Heroes Expansion Announced!
This Fall, Fantasy Flight Games is proud to present the long-awaited expansion for BattleLore, BattleLore: Heroes. In this expansion, leaders and champions will be called to the fields of battle to aid their sides with new skills and artifacts. The road to adventure and glory is never easy and fledgling adventurers will begin their campaigns with only the barest of abilities and must survive the harsh realities of war to become a legendary hero.
Over the coming months, a number of previews will be posted on the FFG website, giving players a glimpse at this awesome expansion!
Set in a world that bridges history and fantasy, BattleLore is a board game that puts players in command of a vast array of miniature troops on the battlefields of medieval Europe. Using the easy-to-learn Commands and Colors system, players can wage thrilling battles without a lengthy time commitment.
Rogue Trader Free RPG Day Intro Adventure Available!
On Saturday, June 20, fans got their first look at the newest game in the Warhammer 40,000 Roleplay series, Rogue Trader!
If you're not lucky enough to have had a local game store participating in Free RPG Day, don't despair — we've posted this mini-adventure for free download! "Forsaken Bounty" is now available on the FFG website. In addition, Lead Developer Ross Watson has created two new characters for this adventure (beyond the three included in the adventure booklet itself), available here.
Rogue Trader is a roleplaying game set in dark gothic far future of Games Workshop's Warhammer 40,000 universe. Players take on the roles of explorers aboard a Rogue Trader's ship, searching for profit and adventure while discovering new alien cultures and threats in the uncharted regions of space.
GenCon "Hybrid Events" Announced!
Every year, Fantasy Flight Games puts on a dazzling show at GenCon Indy. From our booth loaded with new and exciting games to our premier events, there is more than you can fit in one day. This year, we have more events than ever before! Over the weeks leading up to GenCon, we will be covering most of these excellent additions to your GenCon experience.
The first up on our tour of events are the brand new Hybrid events! These creations take a pair of games and combine them in interesting new ways. From Middle-earth Quest being teamed with Lord of the Rings: The Confrontation to Arkham Horror merged with Call of Cthulhu: The Card Game, the Hybrid Events will be a new, exciting addition to the FFG lineup!
You can get a sneak preview of some of the Hybrid events on the FFG website. More events will be announced in the weeks leading up to The Best Four Days in Gaming!
