Dane of War has just received information that WotC has again undergone a round of layoffs in what seems to be an annual holiday event.

Rob Heinsoo (lead designer of 4E D&D), Chris Sims (game designer and associate editor - responsible for many 4E works), and Logan Bonner (game designer of City of Stormreach, Dungeonscape, and the Magic Item Compendium fame, among others) have all been reportedly told that they were being laid off yesterday afternoon.

At this time, this information is unconfirmed by WotC, but the sources involved are terribly trustworthy.
